Dr. Meriam is a highly trained practitioner, graduating at the top of is dental school class, and subsequently completing his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training at the prestigious Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Prior to obtaining his doctorate, he completed his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College, earning a B.A. in Psychology. Dr. Meriam is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Meriam is an Attending at Middlesex Hospital.

Dr. Meriam is an expert in wisdom teeth removal, intravenous sedation, and dental implant placement including all associated procedures—bone grafting, sinus grafting, Teeth-in-a-Day, etc.. Dr. Meriam has performed several life-changing full mouth rehabilitation cases in as little as one day. Dr. Meriam believes that the anticipation of an oral surgical procedure doesn’t need to cause anxiety when patients are treated in a caring and attentive environment.

When not in the office, Dr. Meriam can be found spending time with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys fishing, golfing, and playing the guitar.
